“That’s how Saxony works.” sent the popular Christmas ambassador on the journey for a very special Christmas campaign. The original Füchtner nutcracker, for example, has it. made it to Norway, Malaysia and the Czech Republic and sends New Year's greetings from there. The fascinating journey of the Nutcracker began around 1870 in the Ore Mountains. Here Friedrich Wilhelm Füchtner turned the first nutcracker in the characteristic Erzgebirge shape and color. Since then, the nutcracker has achieved global triumph with its powerful bite. Today Germany is the market leader in the production of wooden nutcrackers and exports them all over the world. Nutcrackers are not only unique Christmas decorations, but also symbols of tradition and craftsmanship. Each piece tells its own story and brings a festive atmosphere into your home.
