Did you know that only 1.5 to 4 grams of hops are needed per liter of beer, depending on desired bitterness? Producing an image film in those aromatic hop gardens for BayWa was both challenging and rewarding—it even made us crave a beer! Germany, which produces about a third of the world’s hops, provided the perfect backdrop.
Over three days of filming, we captured breathtaking sunrises and sunsets while learning firsthand about hop cultivation. Our crew’s first visit to a hop garden was unforgettable, with the intense scent and impressive plants growing up to 30 cm per day and reaching 8 meters tall.
